About HanSanDay
HanSanDay is an unofficial crowd-level calendar that shows you at a glance when Japan's theme parks are quiet — so you can pick the right day before you book.
Why we built it
Crowds are the biggest variable on any Japan theme-park trip. The same attraction can have wait times several times longer on a busy day than on a quiet one.
Official park calendars focus on operating hours, so it's hard to tell how busy a day will actually be. HanSanDay translates real-time wait times into a 0–100 score, letting you choose a quiet day before you lock in your travel dates.
How the crowd score is built
We start from Queue-Times real-time attraction wait times and factor in public holidays in Korea, Japan, and China plus the weather (Open-Meteo) to convert everything to a scale from 0 (very quiet) to 100 (very crowded).
A higher score means more people — it's the 'temperature' of the crowd, not the air. For key dates, we also add a one-line summary of what's driving the crowd that day.
Data sources
Real-time wait times come from Queue-Times, weather from Open-Meteo, and public holidays from the Public Data Portal (Korea), holidays-jp, and holiday-cn.
Supported parks are Universal Studios Japan (USJ · Osaka), Tokyo Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySea (Chiba), with support for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.
Unofficial service notice
HanSanDay is an unofficial service with no affiliation to USJ or the Tokyo Disney Resort. All names and trademarks belong to their respective companies.
Predictions are for reference only — always confirm actual operating hours, prices, and closures on each official website.
Who we are and how to reach us
HanSanDay is run by the HanSanDay team — frequent visitors to Japan's theme parks who collect and verify the data themselves.
